Why is Blogging so important in Internet Marketing

This blog was written to provide information to Internet Marketers on Blog writing and why it's very important in your Internet Marketing efforts to learn how to write a blog effectively so you can engage readers and gain potential customers or clients.

Blogging has been around for many years but has only really been massively used by Internet Marketers over the last few years. Why is this? I hear you ask. Well one of the main reasons is that it's totally free. Another reason is because Search Engines pick up on relevant keywords that you use within your Blog that that the crawlers will pick up on and rank your page. It gives people a chance to connect with you as a source of valuable and useful information that they can access at their lesiure.

This can generate a considerable amount of free traffic and if your content is compelling and or relevant to the reader they will want to read more of what you have to say in future, Especially if it's information that they are getting value from.

I want to stress the importance of Value! and why it's important that every blog that a blogger posts whether your experienced or a newby has to be of relevance. You need to be able to inspire individuals so that they will want to read on and not leave your post after the first 2 or 3 sentences. Engage people. When I read a post I look for how easy it is to understand what the person is trying to put across and whether I can stay awake to read the rest ie doesn't bore me to sleep. A few key points when writing a blog are as follows.

1. Choose your subject matter ie what are you going to write about and do you have any specialist knowledge on this subject

2. Make sure the information is worthwhile. People hate wasting time on material that isn't of value.

3. Use as many keywords as often but don't over do it.

4. Be clear and to the point do not waffle us long words that can quite easily be shortened by using another with the same meaning. This is a sure fire way to turn your readers off.

5. Make sure you correct all grammer and spelling errors.

The more you practice the better you will get. After all this is my first post and maybe you can or you can't tell. Either way my point is don't be afraid to start and definitely try not to think to hard on what people might think. At least you took the time to think about what you are going to say and you started and finished.

To your future blogging success. Please feel free to comment on this post as I appreciate every bit of feedback.
